Medical record analysis has long been characterized by stacks of boxes filled with paper records, and summaries laboriously typed into word-processing programs. BMC Group has reengineered how medical records are reviewed and analyzed and how work product is created. Our process is entirely paperless — without any manual word processing. This next generation system shifts medical-record review and analysis to a centralized collaboration program hosted in the cloud.

Manual, paper-based processes are expensive. Hiring nurses to look at paper records and enter the chronologies into their computer is expensive. Ordering copies from the record retrieval company, making multiple copies, and shipping hard copies are expensive. Expert witnesses who must review unorganized, unabstracted sets of records are expensive. Our processing and technology platform eliminates these inefficiencies — and provides you with a superior product at a lower cost.

Document security is our business, and protecting the privacy of medical information is a core competency of BMC Group. Our track record is stellar. We power one of the leading virtual data rooms in the M & A industry. Thousands of companies have trusted us with their most sensitive information, including some of the world’s largest corporations, law firms, and investment banks.

Our network of LNCs is available to step in when the workload overwhelms your in-house staff. When reviewing and analyzing medical records, there is no substitute for experience. Seasoned legal-nurse consultants know what to look for and where to find it. Our senior legal-nurse consultants average more than 10 years of legal-nurse consulting experience, on top of more than 10 years of clinical nursing experience. Some of our nurses are also founding members of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.

Our hyperlinked, offline output sets the industry standard for presenting medical chronologies and analysis reports to attorneys. Before our LNC and paralegal clients/consultants even begin their work, we organize and index medical charts down to the document level. Once organized and indexed, chronologies can be efficiently created using our point-click-dictate system, which produces chronologies hyperlinked to the underlying source documents and are available on demand for counsel and clients.
